I am reluctant to convey how wonderful this hidden little gem is, as they already book out in advance by weeks and months. Paradise Hills Winery Resort & Spa, came on our radar screen when we were planning a jeep badge of honor trail ride at Beasley Knob state park in GA. The staff was so accommodating from booking, stay & check out. The hot tub was perfect temp and impeccably clean & fresh. Live music with some of the vineyard wine was the perfect way to wind down after a day on the trails.

The only reason I give this place 4 stars is because I didn't like that I had a tab created at the bar and when we were getting ready to leave the courtyard after the live music was winding down. The employee ran after us to settle the tab...I had a carbon file and another night to stay!? The cabin was not checked before we entered although I was informed they did. The TV didn't work at all during our stay. Which was a little downer because I wanted to listen to the music stations. The fees for pets are very reasonable. 15 dollars a day. Loved it. I appreciated the guy singing live and playing the guitar. The music he played was diverse as I myself like country, rock, and blues. We were the only black people there, however the guests were very friendly and I even had a dance or two and was very comfortable as we danced together ❤️. The wine was nice...and the scrub that they have to wash your hands make them soooooo soft. The neighbors were nice and friendly. The tubs and showers are dated...but hey....it's a cabin. You guys should really clear the cobwebs and spiderwebs before guests arrive. There were coffee grounds in the drawer. The fireplace was the best! We had a great experience. We will definitely come back via the winding road! And thank you for the personalized post card! I saved it. Great touch 🙂

I visited Paradise Hills over the weekend for a bachelorette getaway, and I guess we were a little too “alternative” for the residents of Blairsville. We are a group in our late 20’s/early 30’s. We weren’t loud or rowdy, yet we got dirty looks at pretty much every turn. Most of the other employees and guests were snobby and rude. The only person in the facility who treated us with genuine kindness was the sweet young girl working the bar. Everyone else was clearly judging based on our overall look and inability to fit in with the bored housewife crowd. I’m giving 3 stars because the massages were decently nice before we were hurried out of the spa and the wine is pretty good. The macaroni fritters and live music were actually great. We chose to stay in the cat’s meow. It was a nice enough space and was clean and well-stocked. This cabin was a splurge for us, but we did it mostly for the hot tub. However, the hot tub (despite the temperature reading only 100 degrees) almost boiled all of us alive. Of course, I am exaggerating, but only slightly. We couldn’t spend five minutes in it because it was so hot it left our skin fire engine red, and our bachelorette suffered from heart palpitations for a while after getting out. They should definitely check on the thermometer in there. I will sum it up with this: Paradise Hills is a decently nice place with nice amenities if you fit into the right demographic. However, if you are in any way an outlier (race, sexual orientation, income bracket, tattoos/piercings, etc…) I’d suggest finding another place to visit.

Paradise Hills is a lovely property with very nice amenities and even nicer people. We loved that most cabins were pet friendly and the staff was super accommodating to all of our needs. The wine was outstanding and the snacks unique and delicious. I had a fantastic massage and facial in the spa. Overall a great experience that we would repeat and recommend!

Nope, like they said. Relaxing spa and some good room for sampling and consuming some mass quantities. Then stumble back to your wonderful cabin.
