I found Rothman when searching for an open Vet after my dog was scratched in the eye by a cat on a walk one night. Dr. Dixon and the team were fantastic! Vet medicine is practiced here with love of the animal and caring hearts for the humans. It's hard to find someone you trust to take care of your family as if it were your own, but I know my dogs are in good hands with great care at Rothman for ailments that have come up as they age. Late night and weekend hours make it easy to get an appointment anytime. So happy to have a place with staff who care about my dogs as much as I do!

Customer service is severely lacking. Received a message concerning my appointment for tomorrow and she made many assumptions and her tone was the snotty, I know more than you, tone. Time to find a new aviary vet. Response: A deposit was never brought up when I made the appointment, nor was it even implied in either the nice or snotty voicemail. I would have gladly paid it considering the current health issues. I appreciate the response, but stand with my review.

Re: their boarding service - Understaffed, had an outbreak of kennel cough, and the staff will leave you feeling like your pup/pet is not in good hands. We boarded here once and didn't enjoy the experience. Although they had openings left after the 5 star reviewed kennels had sold out, we've since learned there is a reason for this. The whole place has a very cold, uncaring, clinical feel. We considered booking there a second time because we couldn't find any other kennel during summer 2020, but after several awful conversations with a person named Shelly, we cancelled the reservation and went with an in-home sitter. This is the only negative review I've put on-line in my life, and I'm doing it to warn others to be wary of entrusting your pet to Rothman Animal Hospital's boarding service.
