In Seattle for a family vacation and had to visit this store. Incredibly nice, courteous and helpful staff here. Tons of great guitars and amps across a wide budget range. My wife and son were with me and sneakily bought me a T-shirt. At the end of my visit I asked to buy a T-shirt and provided the staff member my size. He said they had sold out of that size and more were coming later in the week. He was in on it, family gave me the shirt that night as a gift. What a great experience for everyone. Came back the next day (sans family) to spend more time with a few guitars. Again the staff was really helpful and knowledgeable and I ended up coming away with a great ‘96 Fender Custom Shop Strat. Can’t wait for it to land at my house in a few days. This is the read deal for what a guitar shop should be.

Best shop on the West Coast! Jay, Trevor, and the ECG crew always treat me like family and have taken amazing care of me and my guitars. They're always enthusiastic and warm, but never pushy about sales. The gear they have is amazing and you can always buy with peace of mind knowing they've vetted every component of their vintage gear collection. My last purchase was this nearly immaculate all original '63 ES-330. Could not believe they had this gem and couldn't leave without it! If you like guitars, definitely swing by the shop if you're anywhere near Seattle!

In love with the new 12 string. They were very helpful and very chill about the whole thing. Gave me like an hour to sit with the guitar before making a choice. They don't rush you over making a purchase instead "let the guitar pick you" kind of vibe. Guitar was reasonably priced and even came with a case.

You have to schedule an appointment ahead of time, cause of Covid! Everyone was very knowledgeable, and also all working on guitars at different stations at the time, so no sales associate followed me around the whole time!!! Which was cool! Lots of cool, expensive guitars! Played an amazing R9 (1959 reissue) Les Paul.

Hi Maggie! Yes, we do insurance appraisals on guitars. Do you live in the Seattle area? In most cases we would like to see the guitar in person to give it a full evaluation so we can provide you with an accurate appraisal. Give us a call if you have any more questions. Thanks! When I was there a couple weeks ago it was appointment only. My girl and I were the only customers in the store.

Sure, I've played a handful of their acoustics no problem that aren't labeled to ask beforehand or are collectibles that are roped off. I always play with the intention to buy but I'm never aggressively upsold or being stared down. This is an awesome play to test and get some fine guitars. I've bought a small collection over the years.
That's too technical of a question for me.
