The only thing this place had going for it was the sweet tea. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo with fries and a sweet tea. The tea was spot on, the fries we not cooked completely and cold. Spicy chicken sandwich had so much sauce on it that was all you could taste. The bun was just a wet mess. We also ordered an 8 piece nugget meal with Mac and cheese and a sweet tea. Again only the tea was good. The Mac and cheese did not taste fresh and was cold, oh and nothing was give. To us to eat it with. No spoon or fork or spork or even a knife. Now let’s get to what they call “nuggets”. The should be called breading balls that might have some chicken in them. Out of the 8 “nuggets” only 4 had a bit of chicken and the rest batter which was dry. 2 had maybe some kind of gristle or chicken skin and were uneatable and the other 2 were nothing but batter. Very hard to understand the staff as the speaker and headset you could not hear what they were saying

I really like the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwiches a lot. We go through the drive thru after work and get them. They are the best chicken sandwich out there. Love me some red beans & rice or mashed potatoes & cajun gravy as a side. It might not be a high end restaurant but that sandwich is good. The drive thru is quick and the staff is friendly and accurate.

I love their food. Lived on Popeyes for the longest time. I ordered a 2 piece meat box (1 leg & 1 wing) with mashed potatoes and gravy, and a savory buttery buiscut. Fresh and hot too

I see why the line is always long and slow now. The line will be wrapped around the building and you go inside to see the workers stuck in snail mode. The workers are never in any hurry to tend to orders (besides the cook in the back). You have one worker with long blonde hair who is too busy texting on their phone right behind the counter instead of bagging a simple order. The same worker feels the need to let put a huge sigh anytime an order pops up on the screen (it could be the ONLY order up there). These workers need a pep talk or some kind of encouragement if you want to keep this place in tip-top shape. I’ve worked at a Chick-fil-A so I know what it’s like to really work understaffed during rush hours and still manage to keep up. I believe a manager showed up and she started pushing orders out pretty fast and kept the others on task.
