Make a reservation in-order to hold a spot in the ferry and leave on time. We didnβt make a reservation thinking that it would not be crowded on a weekday. But we were wrong. Ferry Industry has not yet caught up with Post covid travel surge. We had to be on standby for almost 4 hours before we could get on the ferry. Staff were very helpful and answered all of our questions.

Huge hugs from our βMystery Machineβ to yours!! This was the first time the VW had traveled in a Ferry since she was brought here in 2010. Great day for her... all the other vehicles welcomed Her, the seas were smooth, all COVID protocols were in place and she was smiling at the finish.

Yes.
My suggestion is the park & ride at Safeway. You can catch the bus that goes by the ferry terminal or it's a 1 mile walk.
If you are driving on the PT/Coupeville ferry then yes.
Yes you can
What was posted on the internet when we travelled was 35 minutes. Sorry that I did not see your post earler.
7'2" but height doesn't get you an additional charge. Length does
Haines place park and ride
No, Whidbey Island.
What is the question about Maureen?
By ferry but be sure to make reservations. There is no guarantee you will catch on e
Normal
Always risk it. They have standby spots, but they recommend reservations because it's a small ferry. I always risk it,just go. Most likely will get on
Yes. To walk on and to drive.
Yes. You should always make reservations for the Port Townsend/Coupeville ferry.
Not at the ferry terminal, but there is some parking nearby. Check the hill overlooking the terminal for parking.
Parking lot between bank & strip mall next to ferry terminal.
No. But it's highly recommend.
Yes, do it right now.
Camano Island is accessed from the mainland through Stanwood, WA. Did you mean Whidbey Island? PT to Whidbey depends on several things. 1. The size of your vehicle. 2. How many passengers. 3. The age of passengers, seniors and (i believe children) recieve a discount. The last time I crossed from PT to Whidber, it cost me about $14.00. I am a senior. As for going from Anacortes to Orcas Island, the last time I did that crossing, it cost me about $40.00 . That ferry also depends on the same factors as above but also depends on how many islands you will travel to. Friday Harber on San Juan Island is the last one of the SJ islands and cost the most for the ferry ride. Stopping at Orcas cost a little less, and Shaw island even less. Unless there has been changes, all the fairs are charged one way, westbound, the ferry ride eastbound is free. To get updated information, go to the Washington Ferry website. https://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries
Follow this link, these terminals seem to be the only ones that have trouble and only at certain times: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries/infodesk/faq/vashon%20island%20low%20tides.htm
Senor walk on fares
Travel out of anacortes
No, reservations are not required, however, getting on without a reservation can be difficult. I crossed a few weeks ago, midweek, arrived as the ferry was leaving and was first in line to board, that is without a reservation, for the next boat about one or two hours later. When it came time to board, the ferry nearly filled up with vehicles with reservation. There were only room for six additional vehicles, without reservation to board. As the summer nears, it will be harder to get on board, even with a ticket.
Across Puget Sound, to a ferry dock just south of Coupeville on Whidbey Island.
What if I lost my confirmation and accidentally deleted the email? You can always log into your reservation account (if you have one) and print a new confirmation page. 41. What if I arrive at the terminal, but I forgot my confirmation page? Tollbooth personnel will be able to look up your reservation by the confirmation number, your name or your telephone number. Please remember to bring your confirmation page as these methods may take more time. Good luck. Hope this helps.
Tides inn just down the road from the ferry.
During the winter (off season) @90 min. During the summer @45 min. Sometimes can be delayed, or cancelled, for extreme low tides, or high winds. I check online before planing our trips.
Online, At Washington State ferries. I usually start at Schedules for the terminal(dock) I am looking for, then choose reservations for the time(boat) I want.
Check WSDOT/ferries website, or Save a Space for reservations available. If no spaces available, stand by is limited, 10-12 spaces
Yes, you would ferry from Port Townsend to Coupeville then drive to Anacortes then ferry to Friday Harbor. Be sure to check your connection times.
From? Need more information
No, there is not from Port Townsend. There is Black Ball ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria B.C. not sure on winter runs though. There has also been a seasonal passenger only ferry from Bellingham Wa. Also maybe from Seattle.
