Worst service of any Hertz I have been and I have been to airports all over the U.S. I am a corporate pilot and up until the COVID outbreak I consistently held a Presidential status. Hertz has closed many locations and I have had to switch to Enterprise in these places. Maybe I need to switch to Enterprise here also. I have rented cars online here twice in the past month and both times the cars were not available at the pick up times I had reserved. This last one was over an hour and a half….no excuse…they need to at least offer extra Hertz points for situations like this….

My car rental was with Thrifty and Hertz team covers when the Thrifty desk is unavailable. Tom was exceptionally professional and helpful as I went by prior to rental date to work out details. On rental day, Tom remembered me and shared my needs with the Thrifty team member Tiffany, who took great care of us. Tom and Tiffany both made the travel plans run smoothly and made sure we had what we needed. Thank you both

Reserved a vehicle for a 8am pick up for a trip for my daughter's birthday. Of course that morning its pouring down rain and I got soaking wet walking from the parking lot to inside the airport. I get there the lady asked if I was picking up a vehicle...first off its 8am what else would I be doing here this early in the rain. I said yes and began to show her my reservation Info. She then came out of her mouth to say all theh have is a pick up truck. No one is returning the vehicles....I've rented from many companies and never have I ever heard of no mess like that. The lady was very unprofessional and didn't care about none of the situation at hand..obviously reservation do not matter to this company. This situation of not having my rental on the day we are scheduled to check in at the hotel out of town really messed up the schedule i had for my daughter's birthday. I had to scramble to find a rental last minute. I will be further reporting this issue to whoever cooperate office I need to contact. Never will I reccomend Hertz for any services.

I use to rent from this location all the time. They went to private ownership, no longer corporate. The service is bad (even for rental car company standards). I reserved a large SUV, get there "no one has returned a large SUV today. It was 8:30 AM of course no one has returned a large SUV. Here is a minivan. Some of the employees are very rude, others are just doing their job. The policies are poor and puts the employee on the defensive right away because everyone complains about the odd policies. An example: sign for all the declarations regarding a car that you have not seen, "If there is a problem, walk all the way back in here from the garage and we will note the ding, scratch, issue". I have rented 4-5 times since the ownership change, I will NEVER be back to rent from them at the CHA airport. I would pick one of the other 5-6 rental counters available.
