My experience shooting both my maternity and family photos with Jennifer was amazing. She makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful. The images are artistic and captured how empowered pregnancy made me feel. She made the shoot fun and engaged with both my husband and I. The images turned out spectacular, they truly look like they belong in a magazine spread. Jennifer is for you if you want unique photography that is classic and will look like artwork on your walls or wherever you choose to display them. This is the complete opposite of a cheesy maternity shoot.

Family Photography in the studio is so fun at all ages. For newborns, I recommend within 2-3 weeks of their birth; for babies, I love it when they can sit up but before they can crawl, usually about 6 months, but it varies for every single baby. {For example, My son didn't crawl and walked at 18 months.} I also love photographing the energetic ages of two-four year olds, many photographers don't. But children at these ages are magical and energetic, and give us incredibly rare beautiful photos that are full of energy and beauty. For older children it is often fun to take them outside into a magical natural environment and create some kind of piece with them walking holding hands, or running with their siblings and pets.
I tell my clients ideally the best time to have a maternity photography session is 6-10 weeks before your due date, but honestly it is different for every mother. If mother's are having complications, they might want to come in closer to 10 weeks before their due date as complications can occur the closer you are to your due date. I usually chat with each mother to find out how she is feeling in her body and then I recommend a time to schedule her session depending on what I hear her tell me. I even had one mother go into labor on my backdrop - which I don't recommend. :-)
My studio takes your privacy very seriously. We do not use any client images without permission which has been my policy for the last 20 years. I work with numerous high profile clients who prioritize their privacy and that of their children which I understand because I am a mother myself. Anyone who works within my studio also signs a strict Nondisclosure agreement to further protect my clients' privacy. Thank you!
