Dined in about lunch time on July 30. 3 people in party. 2 ordered salads, other ordered a chicken bowl. Took over an hour to get our food. The hostess was having to go around and buss tables, and the servers had to serve many tables+ clean up other tables. The kitchen forgot many things that the servers had to make up for, which they should not have to do. The manager John Knowles made little effort to make up for the meal.

The host is over complicated. Made my self and wife wait while holding our daughter for 5-10 minutes supposedly, as soon as I gave him my name he says "okay come on let's get seated" The lobby, the filthiest I have ever seen a restaurants dinning area. Literal trash all over the floor. This is not an exaggeration. The first thought in my head was if it is this nasty put here it has to be disgusting in the kitchen. Bless our waitresses heart she needs to find a new play of employment. This Applebee's has fallen is a disgraceful way. Pitiful and awful is how I would describe this location. Photos will be posted of this disaster of a place to eat.

Service was good. Restaurant wasn't busy. Our server was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp was cooked well however over seasoned and the onions and mushrooms were sitting in a little pool of oil. I did clean my plate (as did my wife) minus the onions and some of the scraped off seasoning.

We got told it was a half hour wait, when there was only two tables being used in the whole place and no one In line but us
