Sylvania Dollar General is devoid of humanity. Staff called law on hungry girl who stole bologna. Cops broke her arm. SHE WAS JUST HUNGRY! Give her some food u so called Christian! Cop should be done worse than what happened to the girl. Needs all his bones broke for his brutality. Uphold law!? It was a farce.

Always fast service. Park outside the store and you are in and out fast. Store could use to be tidied up a bit. Updated 11.20: another fast in and out. Store was in good shape. Aisles are rather tight but that is the norm for DG.

Typical Dollar General. Some good deals and very friendly staff. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because management does not schedule very well and it leaves customers frustrated when they need help and there is only one employee running the store alone and you have to find them to ask a question which they do their very best, but it's impossible to do all the daily duties of running the store and assisting/checking out customers and stocking shelves alone with no one to help out. That's not an employee issue that is a management issue! You can't be a team player if you have no coach! They definitely do not have a coach or a full team!

They had what I needed and the employees were actually pretty helpful compared to the usual DG folks. Not that they're usual rude, they're just not real friendly in most stores I've been to.
