Our first visit to Outback on Cortez in Bradenton, Florida was nothing short of wonderful. The staff was friendly and professional, the food was fresh, hot and delicious! So good that a few weeks later we went again! The second visit the restaurant was very busy, had people waiting when we arrived and more coming in, there were open tables but they weren't seating people because they didn't have wait staff to cover them, the hostess was very friendly and dealing with people complaining ( some people just can't be pleased or patient) but kept a smile and didn't get flustered, our wait was less than we were told it would be and our server was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and on the ball at keeping our drinks full. The food was fresh, hot and delicious and came out quick considering how busy they were. This has become our " Go to Restaurant " when we have company or just want to go out for a good meal. I would definitely recommend this location of Outback!

Our waiter barely knew anything about the menu, whenever we asked a question he said he had to run back to the kitchen to find out because he didn’t know anything, one time it almost took him 10 minutes to come back… My coconut shrimp was decent, but my dad said his steak was the worst tasting steak he’s ever had. I wish i had gotten a picture of it. This is outback steakhouse??? Isn’t your main focus steak?? Absolutely ridiculous!!!! We will not be back to this location. Also, maybe think about training your employees before they wait on people that come in to spend almost $100 on a meal that doesn’t even taste good. Disappointing Outback 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Steak was over-cooked but they made a new one that was much better. Service was okay at the bar. Cleanliness was a concern.
