Fantastic homemade food, great waitress

We took a chance to stop here on our way to Savannah. Just a little out of the way, but so worth the time. My husband chose the fried chicken which was some of the best he's ever tasted. Crispy coating and still juicy inside. Order ahead as it takes about 20 minutes to prepare. Believe me, it wasn't nearly that long and would have been well worth it even if it was twice that long. I opted for a BLT and fries. The tomatoes and lettuce were super fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and fast. If we're ever through that way again, we'll be sure to stop. Highly recommend.

Everything is special at Steffen's.
Costumers don't have to wear a mask. It gets crowded at times, so you probably will be less than 6 ft. from someone at times. They do clean tables between diners but not sure what product they use.
I don't believe so, but it is a scratch kitchen so if you let them know you have a food allergy they will help you out and make it with something else
