I came to Level 8 to enjoy a nice drink and relax ... they delivered! The view from this 8th Floor Bar is picturesque if you're ever in the area it's definitely worth a stop.

The atmosphere and view was amazing! Such a chill place to hang out at! The prices were higher than expected. I lived in NYC and that was not worth NYC prices but overall an amazing place.

Level 8 is a great "grown up" place! It's a fairly upscale hotel bar. The outdoor seating is the highlight with a great view of the Capitol. I highly recommend!

No they don't take reservations unless you are paying to reserve a space.
The music is either a live band or "elevator music" because it is an upscale lounge in a high end hotel. The music volume is usually very low so you don't really hear it. There is outside seating so you may play your own music outside on the balcony if a specific music genre is a must.
