This was our first time trying this place. Right off the bat I was expecting a nicer looking restaurant. The chairs were really cheap and not very comfortable. It was also quite loud. Our server was pretty slow taking our initial order. We got a ceasar salad to split and it was ok at best. The chicken parm was good, but it had much less cheese than typical was this dish. I'm not really a fan of nochi potatoes. We also got a steak that was basically medium well instead of medium rare. It was sent back and was perfect the second time. Typically restaurants do soemthing to make up for a problem like this, but nothing was done except a quick apology. I doubt we will go back.

I used to like this place and go there to enjoy the lunch & good cappuccino with sweet. But I have not been there for more than 3 months. Then, I went there yesterday with 2 Guests and I wish I did NOT!!! Totally different experience than what I used to. If you have a standard, don’t waste your time and money going there.

Horrendous dinner experience :( Could never recommend visiting here. Disappointed to have to write this unfortunate review, as my mother and I were so looking forward to our dinner here. We visited two months ago and thoroughly enjoyed our meal- leaving us incredibly gutted to have such a bad experience now in late July. Arrived for an early dinner, ordered the burger arancini, and the shrimp to start. The waitress was nice but when she described one of the items as tasting like “hamburger helper”- maybe we should have taken that as the cue to leave. Noticed immediately that the food was different than our last visit, the lack of seasoning in the arancini was appalling- I practically ordered every sauce/salt/pepper to try and make them taste better since we were starving. The shrimp which we LOVED last time, were the same… NO flavor! Drenched in so much oil, and butter- but none of the chili seasoning, scallions or flavor that was promised per the menu. My mom and I were very disappointed, but still had hope for our entrees. Needless to say, that hope was crushed quickly… We visited to ring in my mom’s birthday, both craving caeser salads, which we had one last time and it was fresh and good! What arrived now at our table looked like a salad leftover from their lunch service. The presentation was gross, the lettuce was wilted, no parmesan, canned pickled onions, only one rotten tomato and worst of all… RAW salmon on my mom’s plate. What shook me the most was the handling of the unfortunate food experience. Every restaurant has bad nights when it comes to the food, but customer service should be consistent, and helpful. Once informed of the raw salmon, the waitress just grabbed a new plate, and SLID the raw salmon off to be put back on the grill. Leaving behind it, a gray oily mess on the salad plate from where the raw salmon was. I cannot even express, not only would this raw salmon have obviously contaminated the salad, no-one should ever just slide raw protein off a plate like that- you simply bring the salad back & remake the entire thing. Instead the same salmon which was obviously now overcooked as they stuck it on the stove for too long came back, black and decrepit. My mom and I were flabbergasted. My chicken was cooked but stringy, and bland- and post the salmon experience - we knew re ordering would not make it better, and more importantly our appetites were lost. We tried to politely explain to the waitress that the salmon was just a part of the reason we were not going to eat the salads (as previously explained, the rest of the plate was gross). She couldn’t understand & simply asked me if I wanted parmesan? The manager eventually came out, but neither fully understood how to handle the situation, or simply were not listening. We come from a restaurant family- so there is never rudeness on our side, simply voiced how disappointed we were after so looking forward to the meal- even showed photos of our last visit which was wonderful and just how different everything looked and tasted today. You would think after such a bad experience, they would simply void the meal, because you want your customers to come back and nothing we ate was enjoyed or finished. However we ended up waiting over 30 minutes for our check where they just voided the salad, we had to get up and search for the waitress to pay, which just felt like an insult. Last but not least.. on my mom’s birthday, she woke up with incredible food poisoning. From the food to most importantly the lack of efficient, helpful or understanding customer service- we could not recommend anyone visiting and personally will never be back again. Same goes for Eleven South their partner restaurant, solely based on this experience- we are traumatized!! Do better, the customer doesn’t always need to be right in your eyes, but you always make sure they leave knowing you did all you could to ensure they had a positive experience, SANS food poisoning :/

Of course, if there is a band playing you will not have to purchase anything. But the food is so fabulous, you will not want to miss it. Prices are great also.
