Our experience was great. This was the second vehicle we've bought from Carmax. Antonio was the agent we worked with and he was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Dealing with CarMax online and through their phone system was absolutely a horrible experience. No one ever knew the status of my order from one customer service person to the next. My vehicle was shipped back and forth and missed scheduled viewing times several occasions. So much so, that CarMax ended up refunding my shipping charges. It was so frustrating that I nearly cancelled my order altogether and went with another company. The only reason why I didn't was because I wanted that particular vehicle. However, dealing with actually people at the CarMax store was a bit more pleasurable experience.

They had us walk the entire lot looking for a car they said they had. After 20 minutes, the sales guy went back in to see where it was. He didn't come back out so we went in. Then he told us the car was in the Mobile location. Not impressed

Betty, Yes, Carmax does purchase vehicles. Go to the Carmax website & click on "Sell" (https://www.carmax.com/sell-my-car). Fill out the information about your vehicle. If it is one they'd consider they'll ask you to schedule an appt for an appraisal. Another option is Mobility Works. Just Google "mobility works" along with your local zip code (https://www.mobilityworks.com/buy-direct/florida-wheelchair-van-delivery/pensacola/). Being differently-abled (disabled) myself, I so wish that I was in a position to purchase your vehicle. Best of luck to you & your mother.
