UPDATE: I called in to check on my appointment that I had made for myself and my mother (a new client). I was going to come in one last time to use my remaining credits on my account. I had the displeasure of dealing with the extremely unqualified manager HALEY again. She stated that she cancelled my appointments because of my reviews and refunded me my money. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND for the credits on my account. she was unwilling to acknowledge or help figure out where the money went. this company is now retaliating against me and now my mother for leaving an honest review of my experience. Haley also refused any additonal help figuring this out. I was a member with this place for two years and had to cancel my membership because I will be relocating to Texas. Never one time did I have any issues until recently. My original Esthi, Izzy left which was unfortunate, but they did a great job at matching me with Danielle and she was great too. Danielle then left and I was not informed. I come into my appointment and they check me in and say "Miranda will be right with you" I was confused so I asked for clarification and the manager abruptly says "we called and texted you". I told her they did not and even showed the text exchanged with Pure Vanity. Not that big of a deal, treatment with Miranda was fine, not big deal. Still at this point never ONE TIME complaining about a treatment or anything, even left a positive review on Yelp that will be changed. Fast forward to needing to cancel my membership. I was charged for my monthly Membership on April 27th, which reminded me I needed to cancel before my move. Called in and verified how much credit I had, mind you I had a lot more credit than normal because I USED TO refer a lot of business in. I emailed the first time on May 3rd asking to cancel the membership and asked if I could have my mom come in for her first treatment to try it out and use the credit, just looking for any way to use the credit before I move. NO RESPONSE. Email again a few days later. NO RESPONSE. I then go to my appointment the following weekend, arrived 7 minutes late but had my treatment time cut by almost 20 minutes and then was told I had to pay the non member rate... even though I had JUST paid for a full month of membership. So instead of anyone responding to me they just instantly cut my membership before the end of my paid month. then I ask the front girl why my appointment was so short, I walked in at 4:07 and my appointment was finished at 4:44 and the spa closes at 5pm. 16 minutes of additional time was left in the business day. Something isn't adding up, I even asked my esthi how many steps were in the treatment ( that I had been getting for two years) and she said "oh no it is only one mask treatment. which I confirmed with the front desk is not correct. the front desk girl, who was very helpful, even stated that she agreed that I should have gotten my full treatment since I arrived within the window. Now comes in the big issue. I FINALLY get a manager on the phone to talk about the issue with the membership and she starts our conversation with telling me it has been "continuous issues" with me since Danielle left. Mind you, I have never one time spoken with this client nor have I ever had any issues with my treatments, I even told her despite my treatment being shortened, I really liked the girl that did it and have never had issues like that before. Her only retort was that I was upset when Danielle left, I corrected her and said, no, I was frustrated no one contacted me.. there is a difference. Manager Haley offered ZERO resolution was extremely accusatory and blamed my continuous complaints as to why I was ending my membership.. but again it is just because I am moving to Texas. I was told they would "honor me for member pricing through the end of the month" like that is some big gesture...UMMM I paid for this month already. I was a very happy customer that referred in lot of clients, but due to poor management I will ensure that will not happen again.

Can men come to the spa for services, like for hair removal?
