Rescued a dog that was quote "house broken, extremely friendly and had only been there a month or two" was told by staff they would redo her information for her chip, never happened. Dog is also not house broken but extremely friendly. Said dog came from a abusive home which was never mentioned. After getting into contact with her old owner's, said dog will run away any chance she has, hence being the reason they surrender her. She was at this shelter for over a year, again something the staff failed to mention. Right after the grace period she had managed to cause us hundreds of dollars in damages to our "new to us" home. When we contact the facility they refuse to take her back and refer us to a kill shelter. The kill shelter has said they are responsible for taking her back but they refuse. Now I understand there job is to rehome these dogs and cat's but I don't feel the need to be lied too, especially if the dog has been in their care for over a year. I'm not sure if they ask those difficult questions when they are surrendered but the kill shelter sure does. I am now stuck with trying to rehome a dog that will chew through leashes, force her head through a collar, tear up blinds, chew and claw through doors and walls.

Very disappointing! Since I saw your organization name and it says Animal Rescue, I thought it will rescue any animal. Only to find out it's just for dogs!! Why not then name it correctly "Only Dog Rescue" ?? since you won't rescue cats!!

We wouldn't be able to use them directly, but I do know places that will use them so if you drop them off, we will make sure they get to someplace that can use them.

They'll ask you to find a friend, shelters are overwhelmed during Christmas.
