Doughnuts are light and fluffy with a little bit of chew and a slight sour taste from the fermentation. Vanilla are my favorite, lemon flavor was a bit too acidic. Overall absolutely delicious. This place is a Must Try!

I actually loved the texture of the doughnuts, they're really light and not cakey at all! However, the flavor wasn't really as sweet as I had anticipated. I love custard filled doughnuts but I found these to actually taste more bitter than sweet (which may be more appealing to other pallets-- my personal preference is for sweet). I did find if I had a sip of my coffee ( which was very bitter) before biting into one, that changed the flavor dynamic to appear sweeter than eating the doughnuts alone. I did try three different kinds (note they are pretty pricy at $5 each) and I really enjoyed the lemon. In fact, the fillings in all of them were great, the texture was also great but the flavors in the dough just didn't appeal to me. It felt like it distracted from the fillings themselves. The store itself is really nice and has indoor seating open to patrons with fast and friendly service. Again, my review is more about personal preference, so if you prefer a sweeter treat, these may not appeal to you. But if you like a more subtle sweet, I'd say give it a go at least once

Super cute coffee shop. A friend recommend General Porpoise, who said they have the best coffee and donuts. It’s a little tucked away in Capitol Hill, but easy to find parking. The aesthetic is like a cool garage coffee shop. Their donuts are amazing! It sort of tastes like a custard malasada, if anyone from Hawaii is reading this. Their coffee leaves a little to be desired as they have very limited flavors, like five different kinds. I wish they had more. Overall 7/10, would visit again. :)

Beautiful cafe, great lighting and seating. Vaccination proof is required to dine in. The donuts were delicious, and one was quite enough (big and sweet). The coffee was well made and yummy.

You have to wear masks, stay 6 feet apart, and they limit the amount of people in the store. Also have to sanitize hands before signing your bill.

Do you have vegan doughnuts?

No, they don't have vegan doughnuts. They serve a puff pastry with a daily change of fillings - usually 5 to 8 prefilled options. For vegan desserts and doughnuts try Flying Apron in Fremont or Mighty O Donuts.
