Unfortunately Risas Dental is a cash grab type of dentist. At my visit the dentist didn’t even introduce himself before telling me I need braces, 6 fillings and/or veneers. He proceeded to tell me that if I didn’t get braces that I will begin to loose my teeth within the next 5-10 years. I’m 34 years old and take great care of my teeth, cleanings every 6 months, floss, brush twice a day. It was a bit jarring how he came in hot with all of these issues when I was only there to fix a small chip on my front tooth. I am new to AZ so I was unaware that this business is a lower end place. I’d avoid going to them as much as possible, otherwise you’ll be harassed into having things done that you really don’t need. The chipped tooth that was “fixed” broke off three days afterwards and they wouldn’t redo it unless I paid cash for it. Stay away, it’s a bad place.

Hello Vanessa, we do take emergency patients. You’re welcome to walk-in to one of our offices but will have to wait until there is an open chair. We will get you in with the dentist as soon as possible after your arrival. As always, your exam and x-rays are $10 (without insurance) for new patients.
Samantha, prices for crowns vary from $599-$959. These prices include our 20% when paid in full discount, and don’t include additional procedures after treatment. Hi Ray. Without insurance, tooth extractions can be as low as $89. Without taking a look in your mouth and seeing an x-ray of the tooth, we cannot give an exact estimate.
