We walk in the room and automatically smell weed and tobacco. The beds were slept on and the bathroom was dirty. No apologies. Just gave us another room which the door looked kicked in, it didnt close properly. Also the second room didn't have a second bed just a pull out couch that fits a child. the carpet was dirty and the couch was dirty. The ac did not work and the room was very hot. You can hear screaming and yelling down the hall. People just pacing the hall as well.

Positive: The staff was cooperative and helpful. They responded to my call for service fairly well. Negative: The TV was not properly hooked up and ready to go. The toilet seat was loose. There was an iron in te room but no ironing board. Only one little bar of soap was left in the room. The elevator was out of order for the duration of my stay.

The place was decent, nothing fancy so don’t expect anything similar to a resort stay or a high end hotel. The rooms will not be cleaned, you will not receive towels unless you ask, small things that don’t necessarily effect the stay so long as you didn’t book this hotel expecting great things. It’s a comfortable, seemingly safe, and convenient place to stay if looking for an inexpensive, semi-reliable, quick stay in a decent area. Close to the beach and shopping (about 20 minutes), would not recommend using the pool here.

Very bad stay. I booked a king suite room a while ago however when we first arrived we were given a double. When I requested the room I booked I was informed they were out of them but they moved us to a king room. The room was dirty and had not been cleaned since the last guests. The bed had obviously been slept in and the room had trash in it. Thankfully we were given sheets so we could change the covers. But we were not given clean pillow cases. La Quinta is usually the best place to go and I’ve never had an experience there until this stay. Was very disappointed. The price says it will be cheap but when you get there they charge more. Not worth it
