Dr. Puca has been my Primary physician for 23 years now. He is outstanding and amazing. Everone I suggested that they go and see him, have all contacted me aftrworks with high praise and flowers! It is almost impossible to find a fair physician, let alone an excellent one. If you need help, go see this Doc. You will be hooked.

Edited from my original rave review - Five stars for the doctor, zero stars for the practical nurse. My husband and I started seeing Dr. Puca after he was highly recommended by a friend. I first saw the Practical Nurse, Dottie, whose bedside manner was fantastic. I have a rather lengthy, complicated health history [including kidney stones, which is relevant later] and didn't feel rushed; best of all, the practice is about integrative health, so I got a positive reaction to my discussing the alternative methods I'm using for some of my health issues. I strongly recommended this practice to anyone who wants the feel of what I would call a "traditional" doctor: not medically, but in terms of someone who has more than 10 minutes per patient, listens really well, and doesn’t patronize or act like they’re God just because they're doctors. Edit: I don’t know if Dottie is still there, but I had an absolute nightmare of an experience with her a year or so after writing the first review. I’d been to Urgent Care for a bad respiratory infection, been x-rayed, then sent to a lung specialist for a follow up for nodules that were seen on the x-ray. At my next physical with Dottie I mentioned this, as well as the fact that I was having pretty severe lower back pain on one side. I soon had to get another x-ray and then later a CT scan, because they were still trying to figure out what the nodules were (not Valley Fever.) Dottie was sent a copy of the CT, and I got called to come in to talk about it. I was already seeing an acupuncturist, a chiropractor and a physical therapist twice a week EACH for the back pain, and didn’t want to come in unless there was new information. *I was told there wasn’t.* I spent the next three months only being able to survive by using a Tens unit (electrical stimulation for the pain) all day, every day, then I discovered I had a massive kidney stone—*and Dottie knew about it*, because **it had been reported on my CT scan!!** Remember that she already knew I had history of kidney stones when had I told her back in January that I was having bad back pain. I ended up suffering horribly for months and spending thousands of dollars on useless treatments *because she didn’t think it was necessary to tell me about the “new information” on my CT scan*. I did continue to see Dr Puca after that until we had to switch to an insurance that doesn’t cover him, but I refused to deal with her ever again.

Dr. Puca is thoughtful, through and very very kind. Old school MD. Really truly cares about you. And Dottie is the best PA and the back office staff is so helpful!
