Dropped off our styrofoam here! We did a lot of renovations this year, and our boxes came with tons of styrofoam. This is the place to drop it off at. It’s kind of hard to spot. They have a sign that says “Earth Friendly Building Materials” with a drawing of the earth. There’s a big bin next to it where you can drop off your styrofoam!

I cannot actually provide a real review yet; I have tried twice to go by since the Tempe Household Hazardous Waste folks send people there that ask (they are very close together). The first time it was closed due to Covid & the 2nd try they were not open on the weekend. They no longer have a 24/7 bin & hours are limited. Please be sure to CALL first before driving there. Styrofoam is a huge problem, never breaks down!

Try recyclingnearme.org they are located out in east mesa.
The only type of foam they've asked you don't put in is polypropylene or "PP #5" since it's difficult to shred. You can tell it apart because it doesn't snap when bent.
I only donate there. Call them.
I don't know. I'm just someone who takes styrofoam there. But go to the office and apply. It's a Great concept.
No they just do clean styrofoam meaning not covered in food.
