Restaurant hours are not standardized (maybe this is typical of small town businesses?) and they don’t always answer the phone which can be annoying. Best quesadillas and chili verde in all of Monterey and I’ve def tried them all at least once in the 5yrs I’ve been here.

Yes, bean don't have any lard and they are not refried, they are half smashed with a pinch of corn oil. And rice as well no chicken broth or anything with animal products. Both delicious I might add.
