I came here after glowing recommendations from family. I don't see what they see in Ed's shop. I purchased a white gold chain a year ago after the original chain broke (10 years of near continuous wear). The new chain lasted less than a year before breaking. I took it back in August for repair and paid for the repair. Less than one hour after receipt of the repaired chain it broke 1/2 inch from the repaired spot. Today, 9/22, came in to discuss and was told the chain is not defective, the repair has nothing to do with the new break, and there's nothing they can or will do. Lousy customer service and a combative attitude. I'll happily take my business elsewhere. *edit after owner response*: a break less than half an inch from the repair, less than an hour after putting the chain on, is not wear and tear. That's caused by shoddy workmanship from the jeweler who repaired the chain. Also, if you're not in the Ed Club, you can expect this level of service. It's mind blowing how the attidue of staff changes after name dropping.

She was so patient with the million questions I asked and took a ton of time helping me come up with exactly what I wanted. When it wasn’t exactly how I imagined it, they took it back and made it better than I ever thought it could be. Everyone in here is amazing and beyond helpful. No matter how much or little the piece costs, they treat you with the same respect and compassion. I will not go anywhere else for my jewelry needs. Can not recommend this place enough.
