Jaime is an amazing person with deep knowledge, and skills regarding the human body. I have MS. He is the first person I have trained with who understands how to approach working toward increased strength, energy and flexibility without flaring up symptoms. I feel stronger and healthier every day, thanks to his guidance.

I've been working with Jaime for more than 4 years and can't say enough about what a pleasure it's been, and how much it has opened my life back up. I had battled metastatic breast cancer for more than a decade, when it finally went into remission and I was in a place to start rebuilding from the damage of all the treatments. I never thought I would have the strength or stamina to travel again at that point. I reached out to Jaime and he created a personalized program, that took into account that my knees are bone on bone. My strength and stamina started coming back, and what I found even more amazing is that I was never sore! Within a year I found myself on a walking tour in France! I took 5 different trips in the 16 months before the Covid shut down. Jaime understands how to meet you where you are, then help you towards your goals at the pace that works best for your body.

I am a relatively healthy 76 year old and thought I was doing enough exercise by my daily activities on the farm and walking at least an hour a day. But I found myself losing ground physically year by year. Jaime has turned that around completely and given me strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance as if I were much younger. This is with his program of 2 hours per week over several years. I highly recommend him.

I am not a spring chicken and with getting older and being the primary caregiver to my partner, l lost focus on my own health. I knew I needed to get stronger (use it or lose it). Over the last year Jaime has helped me get stronger and more focused. Thank you!

Questions & Answers

Do you provide one on one training for people who do not like the regular gym?

Brian Ollivier | Aug 12, 2022
Health and Exercise Prescriptions ® (Owner) | Aug 13, 2022

Hello Brian Thanks for contacting us! Yes, our gym is by appointment only and we have up to 50 members who are clients so, it is truly private. A regular gym could have hundreds to thousands of members...we aim to be small and serve our clients so that they can focus and reach their goals. Thanks and if you would like to come in and get a FREE 30 minute consultation let me know. Jaime

Can you help me develop an exercise plan based on the limitations of my MS diagnosis?

Hello Yes, we help develop health and exercise plans. They include a full plan of action to reach your goals of gaining health and fitness. We are trained medical exercise specialist as well as a LMT so your program would be comprehensive. I hope that answered you question, if you would like to come in and talk more please let me know. Thanks for your time and energy...Be well Jaime

What is the difference between what you do and what a physical therapist does?

Julia Hipp | Aug 12, 2022

Physical therapist usually specialize in acute care and treat a diagnosis generally. The techniques that are similar to physical therapy that I can use as an LMT would be, Manual Medicine: Neuromuscular release: Included Trigger point therapy, Tender point therapy and proprioceptive techniques (Muscle Energy). Lymphatic Facilitation, Myofascial release, My holistic philosophy (LMT, MES,CPT) for treating the body includes looking at the entire being, instead of just focusing on where the symptoms are located. Often, the area where the pain is expressing itself is the weak/imbalanced point in the system and not the source of the actual problem. If you have muscular imbalances and a weak core it changes the way that energy is transferred through the body's kinetic chain. All of our program include self-massage, stress reduction techniques, meditation, affirmations, general nutrition ( Basal Calories and daily protein needs), cardio prescription and several other key components.
