It was a good experience to see how Amish people live. The buggy ride is also comfortable enough. I would recommend to try it atleast once.

Awesome carriage or buggy rides and drivers. Authentic homemade food and crafts available for purchase. Driver very knowledgeable and entertaining. We did farm tour but other variations are also Available including private tours and shorter tours for kids aimed at their entertainment. Lots of animals to see and pet. Price is fair for services. Four star only because the wait was considerable with nothing to do and no clear schedule or directions.

Great guide and beautiful horses and buggies

There was nobody waiting for a ride when we showed up and signed up. We were told we were waiting for a wagon to come, despite there being a buggy there. Total bait and switch because they don’t use the buggies unless the your tour is private. We might have opted for that if they even offered it to us. We had 8 in our party but apparently that wasn’t enough for them to take us so, unknowingly to us, they had us waiting around for over a half hour and then put us on a wagon with 20 people! Clearly that many people couldn’t even fit so they told us to put our kids on our laps! I almost jumped off at that point because I am actually claustrophobic but, I thought the windows rolled up. They were locked down on our wagon, but other wagons had them open. The plastic windows were dirty and cloudy so you couldn’t see a thing through them! I saw nothing while pretty much having a panic attack. The driver could clearly see that I was visibly upset but had no issue ignoring it and laughing it off. She was not Amish, just a regular tour guide. I specifically chose this company because it seemed to be the most authentic but, it was anything but! Total tourist trap! Once I calmed down, I finally went to complain at the stand and I was told they are instructed to squish this many people in and that they didn’t agree with how it was being run, but their hands were tied. I paid $108 for my family to be tormented. The other parties on our tour also had complained. Thankfully we had an amazing experience at Old Windmill Farm after this, where we should have spent our day. I’m horrified at how this was run and handled.

We appreciate any local guides comments; HOWEVER please be accurate with your information or do not reply. WE ARE OPEN LABOR DAY WEEKEND! Here is the FACTUAL INFO. We are currently open 7 DAYS A WEEK. HOURS IN SEPTEMBER: MON-FRI. 9 am-6 pm Saturday’s 9 am-6:30 pm. OPEN SUNDAYS 10 am-4:00 pm for 1/2 hour countryside ride only. NO RESERVATIONS EXCEPT Private Rides. (Email for info) No advanced ticket sales. First come first served. We are an Attraction that uses REAL AMISH DRIVERS AND VISIT A REAL PRIVATE AMISH FARM. We dispute being called a “tourist trap”.
It depends on the time of year. We shorten our hours in Fall and Winter. Sundays until daylight savings time we open 10-4. Then 11-3:30. Also the last ride is 1/2 hour prior to closing time. Keep in mind we can only do a half hour countryside ride on Sundays because all Amish observe the Sabbath so we can’t go through any farms.
Need cash for the buggies. Market takes credit cards.
I'm not sure, but perhaps you could check their website. We were there on a Sunday. The senior rate was $12 each. The ride was shorter, about 45 minutes since it was a Sunday and the Amish hold that day as a day of rest and the biggies don't go too close to the farms and residences. Again, I'm not sure of the regular rates. Hope this helps.
There are different routes. Depending on the route, adult fares are between $10 and$22. Most popular is the Amish Farm Tour. It's $22.
They are fully open and operating as of today
I'm actually not sure when they are open. You have to Google to actually find out the data and hours they have open for availability.

They dont all operate between the holidays. Check availability to make sure you get a ride through, well worth it
There were 8 - 10 sitting comfortably. It's that small? I don't remember seeing smaller buggies but they have private tours.
