I have my Aerobic System encroachment on my property and the neighbors system encroaching on my property and have been sent to jail for 90 days in 2016 for Hood County's crimes of encroachment, is what that was really about, in an effort to scare me off my property to cover-up their encroachment crimes, and other illegal activity they have done out here. There are many other problems with this property Hood County has caused, and are very aware of their many crimes out here, but I am expected to just pay the taxes they say to pay? Hood County has been literally getting away with murder forever and so far getting away with it. The last time I was over there trying to dispute my taxes I was ordered out of the room by David. Wonder if he would like to be treated this way? Of course not. They put a lien against my mobile home after I had already paid the taxes a few years back. When I called in, the woman told me, "Oh, we can take that off". She knew it should not have been there in the first place. More fraud and deception and lawless activity for me to deal with, but I was the one sent to jail? Not worth one star definitely, but had to click it to post this. B. Britain Stevenson (Facebook).

The shaft is on. My place is in Sky Harbour. This year my value went up from $128k to $200k. How? Through the fuzzy math of loc%. This year, my loc% was 2.25. I got a list of all loc% from HCAD. There were 119 in all of Hood County. 116 were in Sky Harbour and the other 3 were in Lake Granbury Estates. Compare that with Pecan Plantation which has a loc% of .07. I had HCAD figure my property using .07% which lowered the value to $69k. Who would ever believed my property in Sky Harbour was worth 3 times as much if it was in Pecan. Boggles the mind. In all fairness, HCAD lowered my value back to $128k. To the other 115 that did not protest, suggest you have some lubricant available when you open your envelope with your tax bill.
