One of the better Albertsons in the East Dallas, Mesquite area. Well managed, nicely kept, great produce displays and choices. Tom Thumb and Albertsons, both Safeway offspring, this one reminds me of Tom Thumbs eye for detail and decor. Maybe because they are in a little more upscale area but they are head and shoulders above the two here in Mesquite. As I often say in my reviews, I wish they were closer.

This store has a good selection of products. Be prepared to wait in long lines. They are short staffed constantly. I stopped trying to use their curbside pickup because the orders were wrong and twice I had to go inside to collect the order. Customer service is non existent. The kids working the register hold full conversations with each other, including cussing and dirty topics right in front of you and your kids. The guest services, deli and bakery also have inconsistent hours due to a lack of staff.

The food is over priced but I like the atmosphere, there is an ATM in the front of the store, very helpful and the charge is only three dollars if it isn't your bank. Food is one thing that is always over priced because the earth doesn't belong to anyone. Yet a batch of greens cost 3.99 and pack of water is the same. If only America spent more money on keeping its people healthy instead of making us pay for rent,, cars,, insurance,, gas,, food,, baby clothes,, dental work,, hospital bills,, electric bills,, water,, sewer,, and all these things that are extra. it hurts to be here and people are killing them selves to get here like being addicted. keep up the good work America. the war is not against other countries. It fighting to stay alive in America with all this extra stuff we are paying for.

Very difficult for infrequent (or passing through) patrons to understand the floor layout - hard to find staff for help and the ones that answer give such vague responses ("It's in the Dairy section" - yes, I know cream cheese is in the Dairy section but where is the Dairy section? Why no numbers for the aisles?) The Antone's Po-Boy was a disaster. As a Houstonian, I resent the experience that this store provided for a weekday lunch - no cheese and very dry (sell date?). The Produce section was above average in content but well below average in "biologique" offerings. The absence of national chain products for milk substitutes was disconcerting. The Deli section was well staffed and well stocked but not for gourmet imported cheeses. The Sushi section was basically to check off the also-ran line item. It is easy to understand the rules of critical mass for survival in the competitive groceries market. It is easy understand why Albertsons has had to retreat from so many rapidly growing 'burbs but still clinging to legacy zones.

Covid safety practices here are great. Masks are still required here and they sanitize carts after each use. They also have wipes available for customers.
They have a truck that comes 3 times out of the week. I asked this question before and the lady in the meat department told me this information.
You would need to call the store for an answer. However I thought I saw a sign in the store saying they did.
