The staff was rude. It was fairly empty when we went and yet I was still made to feel like I was bothering them by bringing my kids. The nurse practitioner that saw us was passive aggressive. One example, she asked my kids to breath deeply while she listened to their chests, then when they dared to make a breathing noise, she added, curtly, “QUIETLY!” I talked about it with my kids afterwards, as I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t being overly judgmental. Both of them were glad I brought it up as they were both pretty taken aback by her attitude. Only reason I have any stars was because they at least properly diagnosed them and got us the proper medication. And speaking of medication, they will only give you a written prescription. I overheard one of the admin staff telling another staff member, “I’m not sitting in the phone for an hour to call in that medication.”

We went to this urgent care this morning because our 7 week old son was having breathing issues including mild retractions. He has laryngomalacia so we knew he would be a loud breather but he was also congested. We were a walk in and the front desk staff was very friendly. The triage nurses/techs were also very nice. However, the pediatrician on call that day had terrible bedside manner. She not only presented the information in a way that would scare any new parent she laughed at one of my comments! Every question we asked was met with some snarky answer. Though helpful, for worried parents, perhaps don’t be so rude. We will not be returning due to the horrible bedside manner of this pediatrician.
