Great beach. Big expansive beach. Shallow tide pool. Water shallow enough for my 4yr old sit and play. San Francisco in the back drop.

I’ve been here twice now, it’s a beautiful beach and you can see San Francisco from a distance .

Warm water, pleasant crowd. Says no dogs. Busy place after 5 pm on a hot Tuesday.

Signs say no dogs in beach!! Some people don't abide. Parking can be tough during the weekends, especially if the weather is nice. Very shallow water so kids can walk out quite far. People there usually are cool. If you go during a windy day expect to see wind surfers.

Yes. People swim amd windsurf and its kool for kids because its shallow with not to heavy/large waves. Super kid friendly place
Yes there is parking. Plus you can easily park in the surrounding streets.
Hi Regina, Stay at least 6 feet or more from other groups or individuals not with you. Masks are not required, but recommended if beach is crowded. This is what I suggest: Park in the McDonald's parking lot at 2239 Shoreline Drive (they never tow anyone). Walk across the street and slightly to the right u will see a path leading to the beach. Look for the beautiful, black bald lady, that's me! If weather is good, I'll be down there today around 1 pm, getting away from the rioters and looters in Oakland!
No dogs are allowed on the beach at all as it is an animal preserve
Pearl Yes you can, but not on spare the air days tho.
If you mean casting a pole in quiet contemplation then yes. If you mean dinner from the bay... no
Theres certain areas u can walk your dog at as long as they r on a leash and as long as they r not by water or sand area or you'll get fined
Yes the old school bathrooms with a sliding door
Yes you can
Restrooms yes, showers I'm not sure. The restrooms are little brown and wood on the beach
I was there las monday & ther were sign about a bacteria in the waters???for reals..weare adults & just went to see the sunset!! It was so beautiful!!
It is part of the park service
It's like any other public place it closes after a certain time and opens back up after . You can stay as long as you like there are concerned people swimming after dark.
