I got my bed from this company due to a referral on the Nextdoor website. I was going to take a chance with a bed in a box, and I'm so glad I didn't go that route. My bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever had. I wanted a soft bed and that's exactly what I got. I stopped tossing and turning at night and now sleep like a baby. Thank you A1 Better Bed!

My experience was great. After weeks of researching mattresses online I noticed many patterns in advertisement, appearance, cost, promotions, etc. In fact, some of the guarantees made by a majority of these companies made me question the true quality of mattress I would be receiving if they’re able to throw your $2,000 mattress away after a year of trying it out and give you a full refund. Either the mattress is fantastic and they get very few returns, or their margins are so high they could handle 2 returns for every sale. To say the least, shopping for a mattress was overwhelming and I almost threw in the towel and bought a shiny new mattress online right before I stumbled upon A Better Bed during my lunch break at the delicious bbq joint next door. I was quickly and kindly greeted by Frank as I entered the showroom. Now, the showroom is not much of a showroom, but I could instantly smell the savings from low overhead costs…or maybe that was weed from the hydroponic gardening store they share a wall with. Frank told me about their business and that HE makes the mattresses himself! Who can honestly say, I know where and by who my mattress was made? I thought that was cool if you can’t tell. I tested out what he had in the showroom and decided to go with their tried and true classic 14” flippable mattress. I think he called it the A-4. He did offer full customization, but I figured his guarantee to make adjustments after we tried it out was good enough. We already waited a year to receive supply chain bottlenecked bedroom furniture, so I was eager to just get something quick. Less than 2 weeks after ordering, Frank delivered it right to our bedroom. After a month of sleeping on it I am happy with my purchase. I’m 6’1” and about 180 pounds. My last mattress left me with shoulder shoulder pain almost nightly. So far, the pain is gone with this new mattress. If things change down the road I’ll update this review. One last thing, the price is solid and can’t be beat.
