Changing my review because of back office failure. 4 weeks still no prior authorization done. Weeks without response to portal messages. Wrong medications called in. I had high hopes for this practice and am so disappointed I have changed my review from 5 stars to 3. I was given samples of medication and can’t get the rx sent to the pharmacy or the practice to follow up with insurance company pre-auth. Basically I am back to getting no medical treatment due to Patient ghosting. (Prior review) This practice works with women’s issues, men’s issues, and has a very nice medi-spa. Urogyno seems to be one of those things that nobody wants to talk about. Regular doctors are mystified as to how to address or treat. I searched the internet for a practice and found two and completed their online forms to schedule an appointment. I was contacted by this practice within a few hours by a person that was super optimistic, friendly, and helpful. The other practice for which I filled out an online form didn’t contact me for a couple of weeks and that practice representative grumpily said they didn’t have an appointment for about 6 weeks! While I did have to wait a few weeks for my appointment at the exact time and day I needed, I was willing to do that because the practice representative impressed a sense of quality. Two week wait for a new patient visit is with a specialist is actually a very short wait. Besides, after my previous experiences, I would rather wait for a good doctor than be seen quickly by an ineffective one. I arrived at the ChristiMD Medical Group and was very impressed and surprised by the inviting and friendly environment. They had chocolate at the door. Always a good sign. I waited less than five minutes to be seen. The medical assistant was respectful and friendly. Unlike the other practices that require catheterization as soon as you walk in the door, this practice has ultrasound and doesn’t require that painful procedure. Yay!!! My appointment was with the PA who was really knowledgeable and also upbeat. I was surprised to learn that once I met with the PA be meeting with the doctor. Update: super bummed about the follow up of this practice. The doc was great. But everything that was planned for treatment has been a hassle to implement or wasn’t implemented at all. No pre-auth with the insurance was done, medications prescribed via samples were not called in, other medications were called in with the wrong instructions and dosage. Can’t reach anyone on the phone. Sent a message through the portal almost a week ago without response. It’s an awful example of back office fails the result in poor patient care. Changed from5 stars to 1. Previous review: Dr. Christi discussed a number of options. Dr. Christi took time to answer my many questions. I left informed, with a treatment plan, and most of all, feeling hopeful that these issues other docs write off as old age are simply and easily addressed. A big YAY! Maybe next I’ll try the medi-spa!

I always enjoy visiting my Urologist office. Everyone in the office is such a blessing, all the ladies are so very nice and respectful and professional. I have a surgery coming soon. I’m so happy My doctor Christi Pramudji had her staff to contact me. So she can explain everything to me about my up coming Surgery. I feel very confident and comfortable. I have been putting this off for over a year. Only because I work offshore. So happy I made the decision to get the surgery done. A big thank you to all the staff.
