Went for dinner after it was recommended by a friend. We enjoyed a roasted artichoke appetizer that was very good. My husband had a Caesars salad and I had a cup of creamy roasted poblano soup. The soup was really creamy and was just spicy enough. The duck was nicely prepared served over mashed potatoes served with roasted carrots. The baseball sirloin with scallops served with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. For dessert, we enjoyed chocolate cake. Everything was very good, the waitress was very friendly and the restaurant was nice.

I really love the garden and have been going to this restaurant since it was Hoppes. I have been local for 18+ years and I have seen a serious decline in the quality of food and service at the local for a while now. It breaks my heart to have had multiple poor experiences at this location. I only write this review in the hopes the a manager or owner reads this and makes some serious changes before we lose another iconic restaurant.
