Nice building/facility but some strange practices and bid'ah. And they seem to be VERY focused on money, even more than most masaajid usually are. But it has resulted in a very nice campus and lots of programs so perhaps it is necessary.

Edit: Issue Resolved. After I left the 1 star review, see below for original review, I was sent an email by the masjid operations team on Sunday morning 10/16, of their approval for 5 overnight accommodations at the masjid. I was elated Alhumdulillah. I arrived at the Masjid, and spoke with the brother in operation who said that he was told by Br. Usman to go take care of my request but he had gotten busy, put it in the back of his mind and totally forgotten about it, which led to the lack of following up and gap in communication. He sincerely apologised SubhanAllah. We are the children of Adam, and since he forgot, we forget as well. Alhumdulillah, since I have arrived, I have been showered with such hospitality by this masjid and those in charge, that I feel ashamed/regretful of the review I left prematurely. May Allah forgive me. This masjid is truly the jewel of this city, and a crown and source of pride for All Muslims in the US. Alhumdulillah in a way I am grateful, because had I not left my initial review, I would have never been able to come and meet the amazing brothers and that I have met, as well as the transcendental experience. May Allah forgive me, and continue to bless this beautiful masjid and community who opened their doors to a complete stranger in these uncertain times, and went above and beyond to graciously host and accommodate me. I will never forget their hospitality and generosity. May Allah reward them with the highest reward in this world and the next. Allahuma Ameen! Original Review Below: Lack of Professionalism/Courtesy: I am a traveler from Kansas City coming up to attend the Khalil TIIP Level 1 5-day training conference. Given that my finances are limited, Br. Abdullah from Khalil Center advised that I reach out to Darussalam to request overnight accommodations for the duration of the conference. I called the masjid over 1 week ago and was told to email Br. Usman Choudhry (in charge of operations). I emailed him, explained my circumstances and requested overnight accommodations to which he promptly replied they will make Meshwara (counsel) and get back to me. That email and his reply was on 10/7. I gave it a couple of days/over the weekend and heard no response. I have been calling the masjid everyday for the past week to get updates on my request, and the office secretary told me he would give my msg to Br. Usman and have him get back to me. He never got back to me. I followed up with an email, no reply to that either. I’m sure he must be busy and preoccupied but I don’t know since he never got back to me. What’s frustrating isn’t so much getting the overnight accommodations at the masjid for the Islamic conference (that likely isn’t happening), but the lack of professionalism and and common courtesy where I still have not received any correspondence from Br. Usman or the masjid after following up on my request for over 1 week. SubhanAllah. May Allah have mercy on us, and make us of those who follow through with our word, and are merciful to the believers. Allahuma Ameen

There is a office at the front entrance of the masjid....
Everyone comes, it is a house of Allah swt. May Allah swt give you some hidayah to stay away from fitnah.

Hanafi fiqh is also based on the strongest proofs as well as other 3 madhabs of evidence. Other that these 4 madhabs, Salafis, Wahhabis, and all other sects are out of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah. Wallahi Alam.
