Saint Leonard’s Ministries was everything I hoped it wouldn’t be. A place where toxic people have been placed in undeserving positions, misogynistic opinions/comments are heard throughout the agency. Favoritism shown to people who should have been fired and or never hired. No form of professionalism at all. This is a very uncomfortable work environment for women. I was ostracized because of my religion, for showing care and concern for clients, insulted and told a monkey could do my job. I believe it because this place was as chaotic as a zoo. But the program does have something to offer those who are focused and thick skinned when their told “their a piece of sh*t” by some staff members. Sad that social service has become so anti-social.

St Lenard's Ministries do not treat there employee right or fair the chief administrative officer is a bully and abuse her authority and the house program director is who she sends to do her dirty work the resident coordinator are treated like slaves what ever shift you are hired for that that is where you are until till you leave or get fired there Is know moving up in the company for resident coordinator

Theres always vacancy .They will help you in any way not promising they will take you in though you have to go through their process.If you need any assistance they will give you resources nothing is handed to you.

They have a vehicle but its not used to take any resident anywhere store pharmacy etc.They do provide you with cta tickets if you can provide as to why you need it.
St Leonard's is a place for people that's trying to get a life together from drugs or people just coming home from jail and don't want to use drugs for more information contact Saint Leonard's. I used to stay there and it is a great place.
Just about every resident there was placed after release from prison. I stayed there myself. The first room I stayed in was a 4 person room, each of us with our own credenza or closet space. Every resident has chores in the morning or throughout the day. There are several meetings through the week that are mandatory. Visitors are allowed most days of week in a common area of the house. 3 meals a day are provided for you. I found most of the meals to be better than average cooking. Sometimes the staff is a bit much, trying to be important. Although overall it's an excellent option for some.
St. Leonard is a half way house for men and Grace house is for the women.
They don't give you jobs they just let you know what's hiring and are background friendly. They help with the cta program
