This is my favorite parish in town, along with being one of the oldest Catholic Churches in town, it is simply so beautiful, a perfect mix between the ornate and simple. Not to mention spectacular high altar and crucifix. One of my favorite attributes is the stunning stain glass window at the very front in the sanctuary above the high altar depicting the Crucifixion.

Our parish host the St. Vincent DePaul food pantry. If you call the parish office we can give you their phone number.
It is good that you are looking for a place to worship. If you are open to returning to the Catholic church I encourage you to watch this video: https://youtu.be/lpOVsFtZ1hM and attend a Sunday Mass with an open heart.
St. James the Apostle Parish was founded in 1844. At that time it was called St. Mark's. The name of the church was changed to St. James the Apostle in 1882. The current church building was built between 1882 - 1884. The first Mass in the current church building was held on May 10, 1884.
This can vary from year to year. I encourage you to check our website at www.downtownkenoshacatholic.org for the most current information.
