I called concerned about my dogs health just now and the person on the phone rushed me and told me they can’t help. I’ve never felt so dismissed when conveying my worries about my beloved animal. I understand they are busy but maybe you should hire more people or put on your site that you can’t take on more patients. Very bad experience just now on the phone.

I have been going to Blum for 3 years now since owning my cat and they have been nothing but amazing. They helped me quickly realize the troubles I was noticing in my cat was chronic UTI's and helped us manage it quickly and as painlessly as possible for my little guy. In relation to pricing their pricing is on par if not better than other places in the Chicago area as well. We have also taken our dog here as well and they have handled him flawlessly! He's very reactive and not great around other dogs and new people and they knew how to keep him as calm as possible without causing him too much stress. They're always the sweetest and very professional! Dr. O'reily is just the best as well! Highly recommend! :)

Spent $1,500 for my 5.5lb 11 year old rescue Persian cat from Paws on tests that involved a scan of her stomach. I brought her in for vomiting and diarrhea and not eating well. I have kept her on kidney meds Paws prescribed 9 weeks ago when I adopted her and knew her kidneys were failing when I adopted her. I knew no one else would adopt a sick 11 year old cat, and I knew her owner. I provided Blum a full work up her deceased owner had done in April before she died unexpectedly. The vet at Blum VCA, Dr O’Reilly never called me with the results. Then when I called her for 2nd time she was on vacation for a week. Spoke with one of her associates who had not had time to review results. She said she was the only vet at the clinic! It has been over 10 days. Her tests are more complicated to interpret than a 50 year old with heart problems. Dr. O’Reilly is still on vacation…. I have gone to Blum since 2011. Their pricing has always been aggressive but at least the care was good. VCA has ruined this practice.

Top tier care! I had two incidences with a cat and dog that required extra care and meds. Both recovered quickly. I would highly recommend Blum.
