Things were good with Darixa Rodriguez and others for a few years until this year when I was involved in a domestic violence situation and I had to move out, also relocated to somewhere else. When I finally found a home that I can live in without any issue. I called several times this month to have my entire DACA documents be sent to my email for legality reasons. I never got them hence my several calls to figure out what was going on and requested many times to have my documents sent to me. I also have sent emails and never got a response. I thought they would be professional but not at all. I had English interpreters call them many times also switched to Spanish interpreters to speak with them. Whenever I try to call them, they would hang up so many times and sometimes they would answer and hold- a few of my interpreters can hear them breathing. As if they were waiting for me to hang up and thinking I'd give up. Their professionalism for the organization supposedly to help immigrants get a better life as well as others in need for resources. And I'm starting to realize that their professionalism isn't showing at all. I would have to find a different organization that has a better understanding and intentions to help people especially undocumented deaf people. I might change this review with some stars if they ever send me the recent documents in order not to get deported. And I'd be cautious when using this organization for anything. And let this be a warning to anyone who considers using this organization for any reason. I will be also adding more reviews for this organization until I see some improvements. And please be sure to gather your own documents and save them for yourself. I wouldn't place my trust in this organization at all. Hope the organization sees this and that their professionalism is lacking. —————————————————————————— Things were going well with Darixa Rodríguez and others for a few years until this year when I was involved in a situation of domestic violence and had to move, I also moved to another place. This place is amazing and Julieth Gallardo is the best. Due to losing my job because of covid I got way behind on rent so I have spent the last month trying to get help with past due rent and would spend literally hours on the phone as well as filling out applications online. Nothing ever came of it tho and when I would call nobody even knew who I was or could find my info. Within about a week Julieth got the federal assistance and my past due rent paid. She is a miracle worker and she very well saved me and my family from being homeless. Support this center in any way possible and if you need a hand up contact Mano A Mano they are the best.
