Always clean when I’ve come, I’ve been skating here with friends ever since I was a teenager! The pricing is very reasonable, especially if you bring your own skates. The skates you rent are very nice though, and kept clean.

There is an open skate every Friday evening, it should be posted on the website calendar. There are also weekly stick and pucks as well as Tuesday night and Saturday morning drop in hockey. Great rink and great people running it!

Summer hours are 12-4 weekdays there is music, it is quite an eclectic mix.
You can call them and talk to Joe or Felicia and they can get you setup.
It depends on the day and the activity. They currently have open skate from 12-4 this week for spring break. Social skate is from 4-8pm on Fridays and 12-4pm Saturdays. There is also child and adult roller derby and various hockey leagues.

They dont have ice. Its roller skating. Public skate is usually friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
Admission for participants during skate times is $5. If they also need to rent skates, that's usually another $5. Unless you have a military ID, etc. You'd want to check the website calendar to see when Public skate times are listed (usually 12-4 on Saturdays, and some others) because the same rink is also used for hockey and becomes unavailable for public skaters. Parents who won't be skating (non participants) don't pay for admission.
Take 288 exit (the one to golden triangle mall) and head east. A few miles up you will come to a light at McKinney. Turn right. The next light turn right. Lone star will be on your right about a quarter mile from there.
Its $5 if you have your own skates $10 if you need to rent skates.
