Great small venue. Amateur band whiskey bandits could be a lot better if they played more and drank less . Longer they played more they drank and worse they got

Yes they have happy hour
It depends on the location. A lot of them are open to the public but there are still a few that are members only. Some require a member to sign you in as a guest. It's a good idea to call ahead and ask if you've never been to a specific post. This post asks that you sign in.
There is an Embassy Suites near the hospital right off of Interstate 35 right before 380. It is about 8 minutes away.
