Had an Awesome day for son's birthday party @ 878 Airsoft in Waxahachie TX. 878 really came through we bought a party package which gives u a private field to play on. I want to give a shout out to the volunteers that surprised us and instead of the boys having to split up and play against each other they played against the volunteers. Not only did they teach them strategies but they played fairly. My group was happy campers when we left. Thanks 878 airsoft for a fantastic day!!!!!!

Awesome staff! Very helpful and knowledable! I bought an airsoft gun from the guys that was supposed to be in near perfect condition, but throughout the day had three major malfuctions. They fixed it free of charge each time and allowed me to trade in for a better one when it wasn't working out. Absolutely fantastic customer service and tech skills. Will 100% be back!

Do yourself a favor and for go giving your hard earned money to this place. It is a dump and has horrible organization when it comes to the games, krono, and game prep. Games are 10 mins long and the field looks like a landfill.

For open play we recommend having an adult present on field for youth younger than 16. We do have options for airsoft birthday parties for younger children and have even permitted NERF parties for younger children. No upper limit on age!
Not to play on a field. But some cities have ordinances that require the orange tips, so when taking the airsoft gun from home to car, be sure to place it in a bag if you live in one of those kind of cities.
The age range is 10+, the owner recommends any child under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. You should be good to grab your airsoft gun and go play though!

Ali, 878 Airsoft would like to thank you for your interest in the sport of Airsoft. The answer to your question is a huge NO!! Pellet guns are not allowed to be used at any Airsoft field and are not intended for shooting at people or animals. Airsoft ONLY uses PLASTIC bb’s. Do Not ever shoot metal bb’s or Pellets at people. Our first suggestion would be do some research on the sport of Airsoft so you understand the basic rules and safety at all fields to ensure no deadly or permanent harm. Be Safe
Nearly a year ago, 878 Airsoft was the first airsoft field in the nation to institute strict COVID-19 safety procedures, including limiting players to 4 persons per squad, a maximum of 40 players playing on 160 acres using real time remote tracking with Blue Fox Tracker App, sanitization of the rental equipment and interior areas, and requiring pre-registration health and symptom screening and applications for all players with follow-up tracking for any contacts. With these procedures in place, we safely operated the field and as the county judge and governor relaxed standards, we followed suit in a like manner, while still protecting our staff and players. We have had no report of persons contacting COVID-19 while playing airsoft at our field. We still encourage masks and social-distancing in enclosed areas for those persons wishing to use same and advise players who are not feeling well to stay home. - Dan A.

They do have to meet our rules for feet per second posted on our rules page at 878airsoft.com (most commercially purchased electric airsoft guns will meet these) 2) Generally, full auto is allowed, except in buildings. 3). Not entirely. You can. But they rent out face masks. Don't recommend them if you wear glasses. Other than face masks they don't offer much equipment to rent.

Depending on the package you rent they all come with some BBs. Depending on your play style you may need to purchase more BBs. They start at $9 for 2000 bbs and go up to $40+ per bottle depending on weight and quality of bb you choose.

Maybe at some point in the future, we will host Martius again. It was a gas-blow back only event and we used more lenient FPS rules (basically the higher FPS, the greater your engagement distance), because understandably it is harder to modify GBBRs in that regard. Have you checked with Adam at GBB Central to see if they have any suggestions ?
