The food was delicious and the service is fantastic.. but they should fancy the place up some and keep the restrooms clean. Appearance is important in a restaurant especially at that price. Our Chef was great though.

Went for dinner but weren't feeling sushi so decided to get katsu curry instead. My girlfriend and I waited over an hour before it was cooked, and when it came out the meat was burned and the curry was completely flavorless. We had one bite and told the waitress the situation and she said we didn't have to pay for our meal. I'm sure the sushi is fine, but don't offer menu items that the restaurant can't cook.

I hate to do it, but it was the strangest tasting Japanese food. The taste was off. Not really bad, just not mine.

I love Kura. Great food, good service. But the last time I went, I called to reserve a spot at the hibachi table, and was told no reservations necessary. On the website, it states no reservations are needed. I showed up, with plenty of time to wait for a spot, only to be told hibachi was reservation only. Rather disappointed with that. I called. Was told no reservations needed. Showed up. Was told reservations needed. Please clarify on your website, and with whomever answers the phone, that reservations are required.
