Today I bought 57 pounds of cucs to put in my crocks for pickles. I had to throw 13.5 pounds away because they were not in a condition that I could use them. They had gouges and the peel was scraped off by what looked to be done by automatic picking. In any case they looked to be roughly handled. I called the manger and relayed this information. He said he would let his grower know tomorrow. He didn't offer a credit or substitution and wasn't really concerned that his product wasn't acceptable. We have been purchasing cucs here for 15 years, every year. Buyer beware!!

Love this place! Great price and lots of fun local food stuff. Awesome staff and a great outdoor AC system when it's hot.

You know spring is around the corner when Yakima market opens! Fresh and as local as possible fruits and veggies! Some other foods too, including dairy by smith bros. Also there’s a small freezer near dairy that has really great pizza dough. Delish! Greenhouse-ish part to the right is all gardening/landscaping related.

Incredible fresh produce at awesome prices. I especially love some of their jams and pasta sauces. Staff is nice and friendly too.

Didn't see any. But, I wasn't looking. Grocery stores still have them so I would think Yakima Fruit Stand would also.
Nice! May want to check with the market. Country Village has been torn down for high density housing
It's an open air market so greater change of air than most stores. Staff and customers must wear masks and spacing is good.
Hmmmm... I don't think they have that .. its a decent fruit and veggies stall , with a garden center.. plz call them and confirm if they even have their own gift card or certificate ... Otherwise gift a visa etc gift card to your friend wrapped in an envelope with a printout of yfm pictures.
Starting March 3!
I would call the store to find out. I know the local raspberries are in and are delicious!
Use a ruler, dowel, end of a small hand shovel, make a furrow. Set each onion in, tamp soil around, water. Pinterest and YouTube have great tips!!
They are kirby cucumbers
