We visited Lucky Envelope while visiting from the East Coast. We travel a lot and go to a lot of breweries so we have an idea of what quality beer tastes like. We were HIGHLY impressed with Lucky Envelope. Everything we had was really good across all the styles. The place has really good ambience including indoor and outdoor seating. The staff couldn't have been nicer. If we lived in this area we would be here all the time!

Super friendly, inviting place. Beers were solid and it’s the only place I’ve ever had a Huckleberry Milkshake IPA (you don’t see Huckleberries much in the Midwest).

Lucky envelope is a breath of fresh air in the Ballard beer community, which is dominated by redundant IPAs. Their use of culturally influenced ingredients cannot be found elsewhere. The unique flavors, coupled with expert brewing makes Lucky one of my favorite breweries ever - and I’ve been to a lot of breweries! I’m particularly fond of their tea-smoked styles. Not only that, but their owners and staff are always very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend this spot along your Ballard brewery-hopping route, or even better, go out of your way to try them. They won’t disappoint!

Dog-friendly brewery with a great selection of beers. Personally I loved their cinnamon orange black tea sour. They also have covered outdoors seating. Friendly staff and good service!
