PHFA mortgages DO NOT accept: bi-monthly or bi-weekly payments. They only process payments once a month when the agreed upon amount has been paid in full.

Brenda, hi. Full program details will be available once the program is approved and implemented. We encourage you to sign up for updates on our HAF site, which can be found at www.phfa.org/HAF. This will be a long-term program, unlike the original homeowner and renter assistance program.
John, hi. The issue is that a loan with many borrowers, whose homes are all in one building with shared walls, present a different set of risks to the lender. PHFA’s HEELP program is not designed to meet those risks. Commercial lenders best understand that risk and offer appropriate financing for it. Please reach out to local lenders in your area.

Hi, Rebecca. We do fund the development of low-income housing. But you will need to contact your local housing authority to inquire about availability of housing close to you - these authorities work with HUD and accept housing vouchers.
