I came in for alcohol detox. Was only supposed to be 5-7 days. I made an appointment to stay 2 weeks prior and asked about accommodating vegan diets. They assured me there would be options for me. Yet, I was served non vegan options under the guise that they were. Plant milk were months expired and then not available. I had so much difficulty being released from the facility, I had to agree to stay another day; just so they could charge my premium insurance for more than needed. I literally had to walk the building, missing meetings and leaving written messages; just to ensure my release without penalties (including not giving back your possessions, license, wallet with money and what you brought with you for the stay until 3 days after). I was told I would be set up with a psychologist. After 3 months of emailing and messaging that didn’t happen. I have depression, panic attacks and social anxiety. I was told they would help with all of that. Never happened and had to look elsewhere for help. Even while enrolling in their iop program. I was repeatedly told I need to wait for any medical help I needed and to just be patient. Was also told to take Benadryl, because I was waiting for psychiatric help they weren’t providing as an alternative to anxiety medication. This is a for profit facility. You will be thrown out or denied if you can’t afford or your insurance can’t afford to keep you there. While most staff was friendly, the chaos that ensued while I was there; from problematic patients, to nurses closing their office and not being informed of what medications and vitamins where needed for patients, I felt like I was in a women’s prison. And I went there voluntarily with weeks notice. Also, the first 4 days I was there, they refused to accept my husbands calls. It was only until I was able to see a psychologist there, that they allowed me to contact my husband briefly. Then after attempting to keep me there against my will, told my husband I was trying to escape, which I would never do without my belongings and allowed me a supervised phone call to him. I was not court ordered and went there of my own free will for help. My husband and son. rely on me for a lot. He works 60+ hrs a week and my son is in many advanced programs and after school activities. Again, I felt like a prisoner, when I was just requesting detox help and psychiatric needs to be fulfilled. Don’t go here, unless you’re forced to.

This place gave me a lot of dignity, freedom, wisdom, comfort, and hope. Special shout-out to Adam, who provided much needed advice in a lot of our hours of need/vulnerability.

I do not recommend this treatment center. I’m a professional who was looking for help, however was treated like a juvenile that needed structure. Don’t let them fool you, especially upon arrival. I advise everyone to read the paperwork before you sign anything. Incredible staff, very helpful!! However the program, they define “lucrative”

Horrible experience! If you want to transfer to a different facility they try to make it impossible, as they are more concerned with the money of having a patient there than the needs and well-being of the patient. Please avoid at all costs. The facility will not even return phone calls.

No RCA does not accept Medicaid. I loved them but recently lost my blue cross insurance and with Medicaid they gave me a list of state places I already knew. No offense but if you don’t have private insurance they won’t take you which is sad.

Hi Michael - yes just put her name at the top and we will be sure she gets it!
Hi there, You may bring clothes as approved by the team. Outside food is not allowed; however, we accommodate meals and dietary needs. Money is not needed while a patient is in treatment. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
