The atmosphere at Velvet Taco in Houston was definitely odd but lovely. It seemed half of one vibe and half of another, but the food was SOOOO good! It was very different than the authentic Mexican food I am used to, but a good different! Not Tex-Mex at all, in my opinion. It was like a chef level creative spin on Mexican food and I absolutely loved it. Highly recommended stopping by one. They have many different locations in different towns as well.

The tacos are amazing. I would definitely recommend as a go to taco spot. The different choices are 10/10. And not to mention the customer service was more than amazing. Jami made my visit memorable and she made sure everything was great. Would absolutely visit again when I’m in Houston.

Honestly my sisters and I are from New York. You gotta show us to match the talk. Velvet Taco?! The customer service between their hostess Jami?! Absolutely AMAZING! 10/10 her customer service was absolute outstanding. She is truly a gem Velvet Taco is so extremely lucky to have an employee like herself! The Chefs!!! We’re so great as well. Definitley come visit you will NOT regret!
