This place is nothing short of amazing. I believe this level of support will play a huge role in the sustained recovery for many individuals. I was also impressed to see the great attention to detail in regards to us clients.

I loved working at PPW program a little over a year. The counselors and support staff really root for these women to succeed! There is a high turnover and I don't really understand why as I thought we were paid well and got good benefits and generous leave policy. They are expanding and Linda Grant included me in the build meetings and I felt like she really valued my opinion and the rest of the staffs because she wanted everyone's needs met. They added so many services to ensure the women start off on the right foot when they leave. My only complaint is with a new supervisor coming in, she did a lot of micro managing for people that were very capable of self managing. She also said over and over "with new leadership comes change....." She said it a lot but what it felt like is that she didn't like change so she forced everyone to do things her way without showing any respect for the time, education and experience, history we had working there. She disregarded our input often and I noticed a lot of people began being unhappy. She gets 1 star. But ERC gets 5 stars, sad to leave but need to find something with an evening shift because of covid and family.

Had a pretty debilitating I.V heroin addiction, found my breaking point and just wanted health. Called evergreen recovery and had a bed within 24 hours. They make the withdrawal process as comfortable as possible without actually using opioids. As far as success rates, well that depends on you. You get to sleep and eat all day until you have kicked the worst of the withdrawal process. Usually, you can be referred to an inpatient/outpatient treatment program as well, which from my experience is completely nessesary if you want to remain clean. If you are thinking about detoxing here, please just go for it. Don't think twice. Give it a shot. Get your freaking life back!

I was very grateful for the nurses and staff at evergreen detox. They were carrying, understanding, but most important they were non judgmental. I would not have made it through the dtox process without them. My room was clean and comfortable. I could not comment on the food because i didn't eat much. I can say they make sure thee is plenty healthy snacks and lots of gatorade to stay hydrated.. I was there a few years ago and unfortunately i need to go back, but at least there is a place to go to.

Yes" they will let u go detox twice before the 3rd time u will have to have treatment set up before they will let u in detox but they will help u with all of that. Im in relapse awareness now after 5 detox days amd 30 inpatient treatment then outpatient. I love it. Been sober almost 5 months

What is the cost of a monitored alcohol detox for 5 days? I had seen a review from someone whoes stay was that long. No insurance, private pay.

call between 9-4 during the week & ask to talk to Donna. it helps if you have a drug & alcohol assessment already done from an outside referring facility . Edit: above comment was originally posted 2 years ago. I beleive Donna has since retired, but the rest of the info is still reliable. If trying to get in to the facility it's important to call between those business hrs as that is when someone is working the front desk. & If you don't have the aforementioned assessment, that may be the first step they will have you do & then call back. If you are someone who is considering possibly MAYBE doing this or maybe you JUST found out you are pregnant & are using - get on it now. Whether you end up going or not, at least you'll have the option when your day comes &you don't HAVE TO go. This is a "residential treatment" so average time someone stays is 6 months. so 6 months until that space is available again. Bc of this, typical wait time is about 2 months. So get on that list ASAP.

Can i drop a note off in the chance my friend made it so she can do a release of information form. Im going crazy not knowing she is safe

Yes. they won't confirm or deny if she is there, but if she is they will give her the note/message.

Is this a methadone outpatient clinic? And do they take insurance? Private insurance's?

No. But a little bit yes. (In following answer I am referring to ERC facility on Summit Ave exclusively). This is a (6 month) residential treatment facility for women & their children or women who have lost their children thru CPS or their addiction or most often times both. They help mother's get back in their feet & back in their kids lives or back to being a present parent. I say "kind of yes" because while they are not a methadone clinic they DO &WILL accept clients who are on MAT (methadone or subs) & they shuttle those who go to the clinic there & back each day while they reside in the facility. As far as insurance, yes they do. They will take all state insurance & some private insurance though you would have to call & ask which private insurance they accept.
