rude staff. I explained what my son was coming in for 3 TIMES, he literally kept saying, for what? for what? i also told him hes a first time patient he still had attitude - will not take my child there if they cant even welcome or talk nicely to a first time patient !!

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. He is an amazing doctor and, although his accent is thick, he talks slowly and makes sure you understand him. He has been a god send to our family and my daughter. He has helped her tremendously and I recommend him to anyone in need of a pediatric neurologist. He does provide written evals. I easily obtained one from him for my daughter for her IEP. I don't know what went wrong in your case, and I'm sorry, as I understand advocating for your child is a big task and can be very challenging at times. I just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea of this doctor, especially since he's been so amazing for us. Patients travel from far and wide to see him, and I believe that, in itself, speaks volumes. He really takes his time and doesn't treat children like a number or a paycheck. He was the second neurologist we saw, after the first left much to be desired. I can't sing Dr. Amers praises enough!
