I have not been in or contacted this office yet so gave a mid-rating so I don't hurt their ratings,, but have comments for 2 prior posters.) ▪︎Tank Girl: That is horrible! I hope you finally got what you needed. If not, try going to the largest nearby City's statistic office and explain to them your problem and hopefully they will be kinder & helpful to you. ▪︎Derick: Thank you for the warning. I need to get just the information from a few of my relatives birth certificates from the early 1900 so I guess I'll try a sugary approach say, "Hon" & "Y'all" a lot and not mention I'm in California until I have to, and see if that helps. ;) V

Im from out of state and was life flighted to St paul to give birth to my daughter 3 months premature. Because she was born in st paul i have to get her birth certificate from the vital records office there. They say by appointment only. But nobody answers the phone to make an appoinent. I have mailed them multiple documents just to be told by wisconsin that st paul is claiming they recieved nothing. Id like my documents back but seems going in person isnt realistic either. How is this place still legally opperating?

By appointment only, but that information isn't shared anywhere except on the building. Wasted my time coming down just to have to make an appointment on a different day

I called and the woman was very helpful and answered all my questions. Great Customer Service.
