Very reasonably priced for the area. The rooms are dated, but very clean. The pillows leave something to be desired. The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the front desk does shut down around 10 pm. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean, close to grocery store and they had laundry on site. The front desk staff were very kind and they let us check in early (as a hiker being able to check in, shower, laundry and resupply and then still have some down time in the room is a huge deal so we were very appreciative!!). It was also a great location for hitching back to the trail. Would definitely recommend staying here! Prices were also very fair!

What a great discovery! I’m rating Columbine Inn 5- stars for overall satisfaction. To be transparent, I’d rate the facilities 3- stars but that’s what we were looking for and it more than pulls it weight in this category. AND it is VERY REASONABLY PRICED when hotels in nearby towns are charging triple for a similar room during a busy weekend. The room is super clean, the bathroom is small but clean and functional (it has hot water with good pressure, decent soap, shampoo, skin lotion), the bed was good, and the checkin was smooth when we arrived without a reservation at 9pm. The Wi-Fi is excellent, the TV has a good assortment of channels including HBO. The continental breakfast is what you’d expect (pastries, toast, cereal, coffee). I am really pleased we found this place.

It's okay for the price. Nobody is around at night, I tried calling the front desk and even went down to complain about other loud guests that were fighting and nobody is around. I wouldn't come back they don't seem to care.
